so yeah,on 23rd zahrin and i went to kl sentral.,he taking a train back home,
and i a train to klia..we had lunch at the chicken rice shop..it was nice...After biding
our goodbyes and promises to meet again,we left for our separate ways..
I reached klia at around 3.Met up with the rest of my family members and proceeded to check in and stuff.
after bording the aircraft which was supposed to take us to perth,we got an announcement, that something was up
with the planes cargo door..after an hour just sitting in the plane,we were told the plane would not be taking off to perth,
and we had to switch planes.with the other plane departing at 7.45pm(our flight was supposed to be at 6pm)..So after all that was said and done,
we left to perth..we landed at around 1am local time.which is the same time as malaysia..no time difference there..omg,i froze my ass off.it was 4 celcius..even the orang putihs
were shocked.haha..poor souls!..i could sense them eyeing my jacket enviously..boo them.and yes,my joints would not move and my skin stung..ugh..anyway we got on our way to the apartments we rented..it was a quaint place..
but i still missed kl badly though..I spent the whole of the next day sleeping..funny,i didnt have any reason of jet lag or anything..but i just did..lol.
and the day after,25th..was spent wandering perth city..this place is laid back..people are real nice..atleast the ones we met..we went to some museums, the jetty, barrack docks or something.
and took the bus aimlessly, with no real goals or motives..just cuz it was free i guess...but it was a good way to get about and see the place i guess..The entire day was freezing.every moment i got,was spent basking
under the glorious rays of the sun..which until kl was the target of my rage for broiling me under its heat..i take it all back dear old sun,i love you..atleast in perth..without you,id be nothing but an indian icecicle.
Anyway, that was that for the 1st day..something struck me as odd though, perth has alot of asians..chinese,viets,thais,indians all of em..and bums..alot of bums too..
but mostly alot of chinese..well yeah.you'd see a kumar eyeing you from head to toe once inawhile,or a very vary raj light up upon seeing another indian..but yeah, less of them though..probably all of em are hiding in
those 2 dollar stores or something..you'll see alot of indians there..but yeah,2nd day was spent at the zoo..it was ok..kangaroos were a rip off though, they were 3 of the beasts..all looked wasted..They didnt even move.
sigh..And those damn koalas were sleeping..They look dead though..those rascals..i was so tempted to shake the tree till they fell down and splattered all over the ground..But against the zoo's rules it seems..whatever.
the other days were spent in freemantle, and rottness island..that island was off the hook..we hired bikes and just cycled around.it was ait..
The thing is,perth is a wonderful city..it's pretty laid back, and id highly recomend it either people wanting to migrate to or just wanting to visit..people dont give 2 shits about you here..i like it that way.But they are
really2 polite..Even hobo's..It is an idylic getaway, unlike the hustle and bustle of melbourne and sydney..It's layout is pretty similiar to the US though,very2 similiar,it was like being in the states again.sigh.And public transportation is a nice way to get around..
Besides that,it was nice to see proton cars around..gen 2's and satria's and stuff..
bla bla bla..ok fastforward to departure day..
we left our apartment at like 8 in the night..in this taxi van vehicle..
ok ok,taxi guys can be deceiving..and never, never ever look down upon one..
our taxi guy spoke in halting english, but still ok we could understand him perfectly..we thought nothing much of it,till we got to talking..Thats when we discovered he was doing his PhD in bacterialogy and was already an aussie permanent resident after just 2 years..he hailed from istanbul, turkey, did his masters in germany and came to Australia..so yeah, next time dont be so quick to judge your taxi dude..
through out the journey we could sense his passion in work..he sung nothing but praises for the germans about how hardworking they were..And branded the aussies and the english as lazy alchoholics..well in australia, banks dont work on saturdays and everything stops at 5 in the evening..As for the germans, they build everything,in his own words fakctories!,facktories everywhere!!,they germans vverry hardworking people!!...lol,His name was hans..nice chap..
So after all said and done,we boarded out flight to kl..took around 5 hours to kl..in kl i had an earlier flight to kota kinabalu..The rest of my family came in a later flight..
omg i got to go in a boeing 777!!..at last..the elusive plane..They usually use the 777 range for long haul flights and dont usually use it from kl to kk.because it not cost effective for a short journey..But this 777 was en route to tokyo from kl with a stop over in KK..so walaah!,i got to go on it..haaah..BLiss...in the plane,i was seated by this man who i think, thought he was the only person on the plane..because he made himself very very comfortable real quick..probably he thought he was in his own bedroom or something, because he actually had his complementary blanket covering his whole body, from head to toe.serious!..like you do when your feeling cold in your own room..i was like,dude..seriously..But he was nice enough to offer me the peanuts he got..After that,it didnt really matter much to me if he wanted to do a cabaret in the draft..lol.so yeah, after that i reached home 15 hours later..and slept..
Anyway, all in all, perth was a nice place..But ive had enough of air travel for the time being..time to kick back and relax..well that's all folks...
