A prayer for you,

Bless my journey father,
For i have a long way to go,
Forgive me for the times i have sinned,
Forgive me for the times i have been arrogant,
And the times i forgot about you,
For my journey is perilous,
It is not,without it's dangers,
Give me the strength to persevere,
For I'm young and reckless,

Bless my boat father,
For the sea is rough,
My mast is broken,and my rudder gave way,
If i was ever to fall into stormy seas.
Please give me the strength to swim,
Send me an angel,if submerged by the clutches of death.

For the times i was naive,and did not heed the pleas of a fellow man,
And never stopped,to offer him assistance,
To not offer the shade i carried,
To not offer,the water i brought,
Forgive me father,for i will next time,
That to you,is my disposition.

So at the start of my journey i stand,
With knees buried deep in the dirt,
And palms clasped in humble prayer,
To the heavens above,i say this prayer,
To please watch over,another lost lamb.
