Aokigahara-Forest Of Death

whuddup ya'll..ait..before i continue with this post..I warn you, this is the darkest post so far,for those who have not encountered this story before..please do not read if ya'll are easily impressionable or may shit brix at a drop of a hat.Seriously..i warn you..Viewers discretion is advised..

I'm am a weird character.Death intrigues me a lot.I'm not trying to sound dark and mysterious.but it honestly does..for me,seeing dead bodies on a dissection table just does not cut it anymore.and the moment i read this story which I'm about to pen down,i really2 felt the urge to go visit. If I'm ever in japan,This place would be tops on my list of places to visit..There's no ban or anything.so why not..one day..hopefully..
so I'm going to tell ya'll about Aokigahara forest..also knows as the sea of trees..or otherwise, the forest of death..aokigahara lies north west at the base of mount Fuji.filled with rocky icy caverns.Aokigahara is the top location of suicides in japan.People actually go here to well,die..
due to the wind blocking density of trees, and absence of wild life..aokigahara is eerily silent.very very silent, that if you're unlucky enough, you can hear a man dying as the noose around his neck tightens..aokigahara is the world's second most popular suicide location after the golden gate bridge of San Fransisco.Aokigahara is said to be crazily haunted and often associated with Japanese demon mythology..ubasute,the practice of abandoning a dying, often ill or old member of a family was practiced here during the 19th century.meaning they carried their dying relatives here to die of starvation, dehydration,or by the intense cold..sick.

Since the 1950s, more than 500 people have lost their lives in the forest, mostly suicides, with an average of approximately 30 counted yearly. In 2002, 78 bodies were found within the forest, replacing the previous record of 73 in 1998. In 2003 the rate climbed to 100, and in recent years the local government has stopped publicizing the numbers in an attempt to downplay Aokigahara's association with suicide. The high rate of suicide has led officials  to actually place signs in the forest, in Japanese and English, urging those who have gone there in order to commit suicide to seek help and not kill themselves..imagine that... There is an  annual body search, consisting of a small army of police, volunteers and attendant journalists, which go deep in the forest to look for bodies.mind you..not all get found due to the rugged terrain and high number of deaths...below are some pictures..of death and the forest..Man the japanese are crazy:but this forest enchants the heck outta me,to say the least..one day hopefully..:)

the forest...

Signs by officials to rethink any suicidal intentions(im guessin)

Just another forest..until you get inside.

Hangman's noose..no,you never win..

Skeletal remains,found too late...

again..found too late..

Guess this one tried to overdose..

More remains..

And again...looks like the humerus a.k.a arm bone, and tibia a.k.a the shin bone.

And now comes the morbid part..Hangings.

Yup...

Decomposing..

More of it..

mmhmm...

rest in peace..

till the next bunch of victims visit..Aokigahara will always be waiting to claim more souls..so long and have a good day..
