Yup,so exams are done for now..I'm just happy i don't have to spend my days in the library now..i just sit at home and do absolutely nothing..It's what I'm good at really..Nothing much happened over the hiatus of blog posts..just me and books, nothing more..Now i just can't wait for practicals to end, then it'll be home, and the sheer joy of not having to be in the godforsaken land for like a month plus..lol sometimes i may just go all out when belittling this place.Maybe i shouldn't do that..It's not that bad really..meh..anyway,here's a video that took my breath away.. perseverance and love at it's finest..enjoy ya'll..
This is Derek Redmond,a British athlete who was favorite to win the 400m in the 1992 Barcelona Olympics...He was almost going to make it,when midway his hamstrings tore..after contemplating for a while,he decided to carry on with the race and rejected to being carried away in a stretcher which was ready for him..so with pain etched on his face, slowly but surely he hobbled to the finish line, when with a few meters left, his dad who was in the stands, muscled his way past race officials to help his son over the line.
Now that's true perseverance right there..
