The demonstrations way back in 07
Greetings earthlings..so yeah,as ya'll know the bersih( gabungan pilihanraya bersih dan adil/the coalition for clean and fair elections) demonstrations that are going to be held tomorrow is the hottest news so far,apparently the major Networks eg: CNN Al jazeera,BBC etc are going to cover it..well I'm no political expert,as i am grossly unfurnished with the knowledge of the political scene in Malaysia.I just know the people are starting to lose faith in the government,and the government is doing all they can to restore dwindling love. But these are just my humble views and opinions.I am not in any way supporting either the Patriots or the Bersih coalBut i do have to say i admire Bersih a whole lot..
Maybe the time has come for change,just to see what the other parties are packing ya know?..If they fail,well that blows,because it just shows how inept the folks are at running Malaysia..it's sad though,when the united states are sending space missions to mars to validate if it can sustain life for the future of human beings,here, we at Malaysia are still rolling around and wrestling each other in the mud for a clean and fair election..Something that should have been sorted out ages ago..see i love Malaysia,I'm not the type who would abandon it because of all the unfairness..i know it has hordes of shallow minded cretins and delusional fools who think they're doing a good job at running the country ,but for what it's worth Malaysia has made me what i am today.And i owe everything to her..I have never come across any injustice or for that matter been wronged,or even ostracized and expected to be with my own kind in my 22 years in Malaysia..I think that's wholly due to the fact i live in sabah,away from the peninsula,where racial separation is fairly obvious..
That's why i guess i don't share the same sentiments of the minorities in the peninsula..And somehow,i am grateful for that...but this bersih thing..it saddens me somewhat...My only concern is,if the government topples,will the winning party turn out the same after say,10-15 years?,i mean when they come across all that power and money once they're at the helm?..and then,will it be the same repetitive saga again?.Demonstrations here and there,the western worlds using us as a prime example of a country that's running itself to the ground?..somehow when i think about all that,i want to leave..but let's see,nothings engraved in stone yet..We'll see how the demonstrations go tomorrow..i guess what bersih wants is perfectly reasonable..The government is just making it hard for them,for no real concrete reason..I mean bersih is not anti government or anything,all it wants is a fair election.one that's not tainted in any way...
They should be given that chance at least..i mean it is their right,freedom of speech,yadda yadda yadda.and we living in a democratic country should be given that chance don't y'all think..It's not really democracy if you put a lid on any sort of uprising or thoughts for that matter,that you think would jeopardize your position..just because someone else has their views,that differ from yours doesn't make it right for you to contain them,just because you can,and have the power to do so.Malaysia still needs a lot of growing up..and i hope they do it soon..still,i love thee sweet sweet Malaysia..:D
